Career Paths into Healthcare Program
Helping Communities Grow Their Own Healthcare Workforce
Every community has people who want to care for others. Clinics, hospitals, behavioral health centers, and community health programs all need a strong team to make that possible—not only doctors and nurses, but medical assistants, lab techs, front-desk staff, care coordinators, IT support, and more.
The Career Paths into Healthcare Program (CPHP) was created to help communities grow this full team close to home. Led by the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine, CPHP works with local partners to connect education, training, and employment so that more Colorado residents can build stable, meaningful careers in healthcare—while improving access to care for their neighbors.
